Good Condition. Moderate sharpening to the blade edge. Some cleaning, scratching, and pitting to the blade. A deep 3” vertical crack running the length of the left handle scale. Some light uneven bending to the guard. Features a 5.5" bright drop point blade, nickel silver cross guard, and elegant ivory handle scales with a nickel silver escutcheon and a pair of mother of pearl pins at the left side. Stamped "G. WOSTENHOLM & SON / WASHINGTON WORKS / SHEFFIELD" at the middle left side of the blade, "THE REAL IXL KNIFE / THE HUNTERS COMPANION" at the lower left side of the blade, and "I*XL" at the ricasso. George Wostenholm & Son moved to their Washington Works factory in 1848. Complete with the original brown leather sheath with nickel silver throat and end tip.
