Good Condition. Heavy scattered nicking and moderate scattered patina to the brass body and iron sprue plate. Stamped “COLT’S / PATENT” at the upper front sprue plate, and “40” at the upper right hand side of the body, denoting it’s for the scarce Colt M-1855 percussion revolving sporting rifle in .40 caliber, of which there were only 125 made.
