WWII-Era Winchester Promotional Toy Soldier on Original Advertisement Card

.A highly desirable piece of authentic 1940s homefront firearm memorabilia. This lot features a hand-painted green pewter infantry soldier securely attached via original factory wire to its original promotional backing card. The cardboard backing measures 6.5" x 8.5", and the running toy soldier figure stands approximately 2" tall. The top header is stamped "Pewter Toy Compliments of Winchester." The backing card showcases the iconic 1944 wartime Western Cartridge Co. artwork by Walter Ott, titled "Now... He Shoots For Freedom."

Condition Report: Outstanding preservation on the delicate figurine. The pewter soldier's rifle is completely intact and perfectly straight, which is exceptionally rare for these soft-metal pieces. The soldier retains strong original green paint. The backing card displays crisp graphics and bright color, with a partial horizontal storage crease running approximately two-thirds across the bottom half of the card, completely clear of the figure itself. A rare "Mint-on-Card" survivor with excellent crossover appeal for Winchester, advertising, and military collectors.
