Up for auction is a beautiful authentic 1907 Winchester lithograph calendar top by Philip R. Goodwin (1881–1935), titles “Man on Piebald Mountain”

This is the cut upper portion of the 1907 Winchester poster, upper band and loop are retained.

The artwork features a rugged mountain man smoking a pipe on horseback, leading his pack horse through a steep, snowy mountain trail.

Framing & Presentation:

The print has been beautifully housed in a custom, heavy rustic frame crafted from authentic weathered barn wood. It is professionally accented by a deep forest green mat board that mirrors the evergreen trees in the artwork. The custom matting provides excellent visual depth and—most importantly—is spaced to safely accommodate the original top metal banding and hanging ring without crushing them against the glass.
