18 1/2" Smith & Wesson "Since 1852" Double Sided Porcelain Advertising Sign

This a large and impressive Vintage S&W double-sided Advertising round sign with hanging flange, 18.5" x 18", 0.09" thick. The advertisement has a flange with five eyelet holes for mounting. Porcelain on Solid Metal with fine coloring (real steel, not tin). This S&W sign is in Very Good overall condition, showing light wear. Both sides read "Smith & Wesson Since 1852 Springfield, Mass" with the S&W logo in the center. The high contrast white and black paint shows small chips missing throughout but the sign remains visually pleasing. These signs are not just marketing tools, they are historical artifacts that document the evolution of firearms and the changing tastes of consumers over the decades.
